The shuttle is a special unit designed for the transport of one or two loads at a speed of 160m/min, avoiding their recirculation on conveyors and evening out high flows.

The mobile chassis is designed for a speed of 160m/min with two loads. It is used to pick up or set down and, in turn, shift the load between different transport lines and thus deposit it on fixed conveyors for purposes of picking or leave it ready for despatch.

The unit is composed of a mobile chassis made of electro-welded tubing and machined plates to fix the movement transmission. Movement is powered by four wheel heads screwed to the structure and housing a vulcanised wheel. Transmission to the heads from the reducer motor is by 2 universal joints. There are four flanged wheels to guide the truck along the guide lines on the floor.

The movement guide and rolling system is in the form of rails in H or T form. At the ends of the rails are cellulose buffers as a safety stop.

The truck’s electric power supply can be of two kinds, either using a closed 40 amp line, or by induction.

On the mobile chassis are one or two fixed conveyors with rollers or chains to transfer the load to other fixed conveyors.
