

Pallet lifts to remove defective pallets or change the type of pallet on the transport line. Unit comprising a roller or chain conveyor and an electromechanical lifting device with an adjustable fork for loads of up to 1500 kg and maximum capacity of 90 pallets/hour.

Function and description
This machine is used to remove defective pallets or to change the type of pallet on the transport line, usually in order to put Euro pallets below with 2 loaded half pallets on top.
The lift comprises a roller or chain conveyor which lifts with the defective pallet or 2 half pallets and a telescopic fork fixed to the frame which emerges and takes the pallet or half pallets, the lifting system then descends and waits for the arrival of a slave pallet in order to place them on it.
The electromechanical device is formed by a zip chain lifting group and the take-up system is by linear guides with pneumatic piston transmission.

1. Lift/ Lower
Useful stroke: 250 mm up to 2600 mm
Lift speed: 66 mm/sec up to 500 mm/sec.
Lowering speed: 66 mm/sec up to 500 mm/sec.

- Powered by a gear motor with bevel gears and frequency shifter; the control has an HTL encoder with 24V DC power supply and 24V DC signal. This encoder can be read by the PLC on demanding position.
- The skid power transmission is by a double chain of rollers and the chains are controlled by position sensors; if one of the chains fails, the installation is blocked by default.
- The load is taken up by two forks 100 x 40 mm and L = 1100 mm. Space between forks to be determined according to specifications.
- The guiding is by a column mast with a guide section and carrying rollers.
Run: 1600 mm or to specification
Moving speed: 150 mm/sec or to specification

Equipment fully wired with cabinet containing a small programmable PLC and dialogue terminal, with which all the necessary manoeuvres can be carried out automatically, semi-automatically or manually.
