Safety accessories provide answers to various situations that may arise in the use of lift tables when the risks of use, as indicated by current regulations, have to be covered.

Safety rails

This accessory is particularly recommended when the lift table is used as a work platform for operatives. Normally the rails are 1100 mm high and have a plain kick plate 150 mm deep. They are supplied to slot in or with a screw fitting.

Safety gateway

This accessory serves as a safety rail when the lift table is fully folded down. In the raised position, the gateway is tall enough to give a margin of 2000 mm.

Boarding gate

Normally this accessory is combined with safety rails. The gates can be supplied to swing outwards or inwards or can be sliding. They are fitted with mechanical or electro-mechanical safety locks.

Protection elements: bellows, mesh and rolling curtain (“Rolo”)

These accessories protect the lift table from dust and dirt in adverse environments. The bellows is the most closely sealed and robust and, therefore, is suitable for use outdoors as waterproofing, made of a polyester fabric with PVC coating and secured to the underside of the platform with Velcro. Wherever there is a risk of personal injury these protective elements have to be installed. They are also useful as protection when there are risks of mechanical damages, such as possible falling tools, etc.
