Roller conveyors are used to transport pallets or filled containers up to a maximum weight of 2,000 kg, for which the pallet needs to have bottom deck-boards to travel on the rollers.
The conveyor comprises a chassis with 3 longitudinal sections drilled at multiple points to make the assembly modular. The “C” section is where the motorised rollers are fixed and, also, carries housing for the roller transmission; in parallel with it is the “L” section which supports the other end of the roller and the last is the cover section which forms the casing for the chain transmission.
The power source is on a support fixed to the table and consists of a reducer motor with legs, fixed to the support, with a double pinion for traction with a chain loop attached to the motorised rollers.
The rollers are made of zinced steel tubing. They are diameter 60, 80 and 89 mm and have a metal double pinion with chain loop transmission.
The modular construction allows for lengths varying from 1300 to 6000 mm and transport heights from 400 to 1500 mm. The supports for the stop sensor are on the table, located strategically for good adjustment and concealed so that they do not interfere with the load.
